Our Anaemia Marker panel consists of three assays: Vitamin B12, Folate and Ferritin, which are used in the diagnosis of a number of conditions.  For example:

• Low levels of Vitamin B12 can be an indication of pernicious anaemia and also intestinal disease.
• High serum folate concentrations may occur in patients with Vitamin B12 deficiency.
• Ferritin levels give an indication of the iron stores.
