Marketing Manager

In order to strengthen the EMEA Marketing team for our Clinical Diagnostics division at our headquarters in Tessenderlo, we are currently looking for a  


Marketing Manager (M/F/D)
… with a passion to deliver Marketing results that drive business growth.


Your challenge:

In line with our strategy, you generate strong customer and market insights, translate these into marketing- and launch plans and drive execution of these throughout the region to enable sales growth.

It will be key to your success to build and develop the EMEA Marketing team and to collaborate closely with our Sales, Applications, Customer Support and our Japanese headquarters.

You will report directly into the Director Sales & Marketing EMEA.

Marketing deliverables:

  • Generate and consolidate customer and market insights to strengthen our outside-in perspective so that we deliver better solutions to our customers
  • Prepare and execute EMEA and in-country Marketing-, Launch- and Lifecycle management plans
  • Review messaging, positioning and existing sales tools to maximize the impact of our Miller Heiman trained sales force and tailored to identified customer segments
  • Evaluate new business opportunities, line extensions and support the decision making by preparing convincing business cases
  • Build and strengthen relations with key opinion leaders, key customers by executing customer-relationship activities; determining company presence at conventions, trade associations and seminars.
  • Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual OPEX budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Manage, inspire and coach your team to success by recruiting and selecting the right profiles, by regularly coaching and appraising them, by providing growth opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance of our marketing activities in close collaboration with the Compliance Officer
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing professional networks.

Your Profile:

  • You are an excellent Marketing professional with 5+ years of experience, preferably in the in-vitro/laboratory diagnostics domain.
  • You have a proven track record in successfully leading a Marketing team (3+ yrs)
  • You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Science and/or Marketing
  • You were previously involved in mergers, acquisitions, licensing or partnering agreements
  • You analyze, plan, decide, initiate action and measure the success of your actions
  • You are passionate about winning and delivering tangible results
  • You can balance short-term objectives and long-term projects
  • Change excites you and high expectations motivate you
  • Your positive attitude makes it easy for you to inspire others
  • You have developed Marketing-, Launch- and Lifecycle Management plans, delivered commercially successful product launches and developed campaigns across various channels
  • Having a previous Sales experience is a plus
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must
  • French, Italian and/or German are a plus
  • Frequent presence in Tessenderlo is required as well as regular travel throughout the region.
