In order to reinforce our Sales team in the African region, we are actively looking for a

Channel Sales Manager (m/f/d)

The Channel Sales Manager’s main mission is to drive and maximize the revenue from sales of the organization’s products and/or services through a base of distributors in your assigned territory – this in accordance with your strategic and budget plan. You are the representative of the Tosoh brand to the customer and act as trusted partner to existing customers.

This position reports into the Regional Sales Manager FLA (France, Luxembourg & Africa).

Your responsibilities: 

❖ You locate, recruit and evaluate potential channel partners.

❖ You support partners throughout the sales process in all sales-oriented activities, such as marketing, advertising, sales promotions and training to achieve revenue targets.

❖ You promote and sell a portfolio of Tosoh products and/or services and solution to current and new partners in line with sales targets and company goals

You achieve and establish sales, profit goals for the region in coordination with your manager:

  • Development of local sales strategy and sales budget (in line with Company goals)
  • Promoting cross-divisional communication, strategy, and tactical planning
  • Controlling the overall sales budgets, monitoring the cost and effectiveness of sales activities to optimize resources and prioritizes spending.

❖ You create, monitor and revise plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline

❖ You establish and maintain long-term relationships with key high value channel partners to continually enhance overall revenues.

❖ You actively develop local partnerships to increase competitiveness of Tosoh solutions.

❖ You monitor profitability and maximize the revenue from existing partners on constant basis

❖ You Inform partners of new products/solutions and prices

❖ You maximize revenue from the installed instrument base

❖ You maximize geographical coverage

❖ You get & report sales forecast from partners, provide accurate and periodic sales reports to your management

❖ You report and maintain records in the Company’s CRM system to include prospects, opportunities, contact and competition etc.

❖ You capture and monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, contracts and tenders etc

❖ You organize demonstrations and presentations with partners, workshops and events for end users in cooperation with distribution partners

❖ You promote the companies profile and products at exhibitions and other commercial events

❖ You develop good product and competitor knowledge to our partners

❖ You ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics, the Quality Management System, the Company Policies and the Corporate Procedures

Your Profile: 

❖ Bachelor or Master in Science, Chemistry, Biology. Business degree is a plus.

❖ Solid experience in In-Vitro-Diagnostics industry is a must

❖ 5+ years of Channel Sales experience in Africa with proven track record of successfully driving Channel Sales in the African IVD market

❖ Drive for growth, innovation, success and accomplishment

❖ Positive attitude, confidence, initiative and self-motivation, strong work ethic.

❖ Customer-orientation, team player and personal accountability

❖ Readiness to travel (60% of travelling with overnight stay as required)

Personal Skills: 

❖ Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

❖ Project management skills, with proven ability to clearly define objectives, priorities, develop project plans, and manage to deadlines.

❖ MS office

❖ Fluent English and French is a must, any additional local language a plus
