Supply Chain Manager

In order to reinforce the Supply Chain organization for our Bioscience Operations in Europe, Middle-East and Africa, we are looking for an experienced


Supply Chain Manager (m, f, d)

… with a passion for team work, efficient processes and continuous improvement


This position reports directly to the President, and is based in our Tessenderlo headquarters.

Your challenge

  • To lead and coach the team members of Supply chain, Customer Service, Warehouse and Production, Instrument Services to success
  • To optimize the current Customer Service Model (SLA’s, Delivery Performance, Customer Service Satisfaction, KPI’s)
  • To manage all outbound Freight Management (KPI’s, budget control, new initiatives)
  • To co-operate with Tosoh Corporation (Japan) to determine the optimal order quantities (in relation with lead times, production planning)
  • MRP for spare parts and packaging materials
  • To identify and maintain optimal inventory levels (overall inventory control) using Business Analytics
  • To partner with our Marketing and Customer Support departments in developing enhanced and accurate forecasting techniques (I.e. smoothen new product launches, …)
  • To ensure intensive internal communication , maintain alignment with a number of stakeholders, promote networking and co-operation for an effective sharing and management of information
  • To improve/develop existing work procedures for Customer Service and Warehouse
  • To support daily operational issues if necessary
  • To promote and drive continuous improvement within the entire Supply chain organization

Your Profile

  • Master degree in Logistics, Economics or equivalent
  • Solid experience with Supply Chain methodologies within an international environment
  • Experience with Supply Chain digitalization projects (e-commerce, e-platforms) in a B2B and B2C environment is a must
  • SAP ERP knowledge is a plus
  • Demonstrated organizational and analytical skills
  • Pro-active and result driven mentality
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, a demonstrated capability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Empathic, inspiring and natural born leader
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Dutch/French. German is a plus.
