Product Application Specialist –
South UK (M/F/D)


Our Product Specialist provides technical knowledge, advice and support to sales representatives, distributors or resellers and customers during the sales process. He/ She resolves requests regarding product or service technical issues and strives to maximise the benefits derived from the organisation's products and or services. This position reports into the Product Marketing and Application Manager - UK.

Your responsibilities

    • You develop, implement and provide training to internal & external customers.

    • You assist the Sales team with pre- and post-sales technical activities such as on-site product presentations and demonstrations, and participate at exhibitions as requested.

    • You understand the unique medical technology, application and maintenance of Tosoh products.

    • You provide technical and scientific support for the installation, implementation and maintenance of the clinical system range at customer sites and assist in the evaluation and validation of assays.

    • You handle complaints, analyse and take the required action including resolving technical product service issues. ▪ You provide remote (eg. phone, online) support to both internal & external customers.

    • You work with customers to identify their technical specifications and determine what documentation is required to incorporate the products into customer applications.

    • You develop application notes that clearly describe how the products should be used in the customers' target application.

    • You develop and sustain effective cross-team communication and working relationships with colleagues.

    • You manage the administrative part of marketing group activities in compliance with standard deadlines.

    • You provide support with the technical specifications of the tenders.

    • You provide technical/scientific support during product evaluations & automation projects.

Your Profile

    • Bachelor degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Medicine,..)

    • Tosoh instrument experience, preferably with Haemoglobinopathy and HbA1c exposure

    • 2+ years of relevant work experience in handling technical issues and complaints

    • Experienced user of MS Office, Apple tools

    • SAP knowledge is a plus ▪ Excellent English
